Who is eligible to apply?
PTA is open to individuals ages 18–26 who are interested in pursuing a career in the construction and skilled trades industry.
Do I need prior experience?
No experience is required. PTA is designed for beginners and those exploring trade careers for the first time.
How much does the program cost?
The program is completely free for accepted students. There are no tuition costs or hidden fees.
What trades will I learn?
Trade options include:
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Welding
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
When do classes start?
The first cohort begins on June 15.
What is the application process?
The process includes:
- Submitting an online application
- Application review
- Interview (if selected)
- Final acceptance decision
How long is the program?
PTA is a 12-week training program that runs year-round in consecutive cohorts. New sessions launch each Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter—so you can start when the time is right for you.
What are the operating hours?
Classes run Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
Will PTA help me get a job after completion?
Yes. PTA provides job-readiness training and connects students with employers, apprenticeships, and career opportunities in the trades.
